driving license in NJ for h4

Hi.

i m on h4..i m living in jersey city, NJ.i want 2 take driving license.i hv indian international driving license.
let me know if i hv international license then there is no need 4 road test, only written test is required in NJ.

if anyone has taken driving license wt same situation , let me know location of dmv in NJ which gives license based on international license wt written test only, no road test.bcoz i came 2 know that nwadays they are taking road test too, if u have international license.i m nt sure abt this..

You have International driving license from India (got it from RTO) and it means you also have Indian Driving license. If you have Indian valid driving license then go to nearest DMV office collect the driving license book and can also find the info NJ MVS site. I think you will also need to visit SSA office and apply for SSN then SSA office will give you letter that you are not eligible for SSN and may have to show that letter to DMV.
 
My wife got the NJ driving license without road test before just 8 days ago and she just cleared her written test and she showed her Indian license and they verify the document and then they give the license 1 year validy.

all the branches/ Locations of DMV follow the same law. you can find locations in Book that you got from DMV and you are reading for written test.

i need location of dmv from which ur wife has taken licence...bcoz all the dmv in nj doesnt follow the same rule..thats y i m asking location..
