I have landed in the US three weeks ago and received my SSN, however, I have not received the GC yet, if I want to apply for a driver license, will they ask about the green card or the visa on my passport is sufficient evidence.
 
The stamp in your passport and your SS card are enough. But, you never know whom you'll run into, so they might argue that the stamp is insufficient. Check the DMV's website to see if it's listed as an acceptable proof of permanent residence.
