Driver License issue when asylum application is pending

My asylum case has been pending with immigration court for 4 years from initial filing. I need to renew my driver license every year by showing DMV my valid EAD.

I heard that Hawaii is the only state now still issuing driver license without asking for the immigration documents to validate your immigration status and issue a 8-year-valid driver license.

Does anyone on this forum has any experience with the Hawaii driver license? How about if im not living in Hawaii? Can I still apply for a Hawaii license?

Thanks a punch!

Try getting a license in San Fran if you live in Cali. I think they have very relaxed requirements. Even then, you really should have enough points for whichever state you live in. Where do you live?
