Hello All,

I did my biometrics (fingerprinting) on May 27th (last month) and it went fine. However today is June 19th and I am still waiting for my interview letter. Is this normal?

My in-laws (50+ years of age) applied last month and got their interview letter almost two weeks later.

I am 39 years old and did not register for Selective Service, but I have sent them the explanation letter, and received their response letter back last week. I could have not included this letter of course when I applied for N-400, because obviously didn't have it.

Is this delay [from May 27th (biometrics) till now (almost end of June)] has to do anything with this fact? Is this delay normal? How long does it take the immigration office to send the interview letters?

Thanks in advance. I am very worried.

I don't think delay has anything to do any specifics or details you put down on your N400 form as long as there is no extremely abnormality indicated.

You can get your interview letter any time

I have had my biometrics done on April 15, 2009.
And still don't have IL, hasn't even been added to the interview Q.
NYC DO (Manhattan) though.

So if I were you I would start worrying if 6 month go by and you still don't have it or if you are outside processing times.
