does it matter when you are abroad your 485 is approved

If I go back to my home country and intend to come back with AP, what will happen if during my stay outside US and my 485 is approved? Will this invalidate my 485 approval?

------ NO problem , when you give your AP at POE they will check the record of your pending I-485 , if approved will let you know and tell you to go to local USCIS office to get your passport stamped and they will admit you.
