All Sr GC holders/Citizens

Does anybody's got any q/s or trouble because of employment q/s on citizenship application. I beleive, it asks for employment history after GC at the time of citizenship application. Most of GC holders must have changed job after 1 months/few month/years after getting GC. Does CIS officer has bothered anybody on that information?? Or does anybody got RFE or anything sort like that for this purpose. Please post any experiences. Thanx

Moderator, we really need to hear "real stories" if any.

If you begin to flame anyone (JoeF or anyone else) , I will close this thread also and issue you a warning

Rahul, get things straight, in my previous thread, its JoeF who started flame, whom you ignored. And now instead of giving warning to JoeF, you issue warning to me??? I don't get it!!!!

What kind of moderator are you? You remove my thread without discussing it and you make threats to this poster???

And you continue to defend JoeF who was the person that came in here to discredit this person qwwerty.

I would expect at the very least for you to make a response to the valid points I put forward, and if you felt it didn't belong here to move it to the off topic thread. But to just delete my thread with no response, I have to seriously question you as a moderator. Now if you don't like criticism, I can't help you with that, but it was you who were way out of line in what you did to the previous discussion thread and your blind defense of an obvious flame by JoeF

AMAZING

I closed the other thread and deleted prior posts to avoid arguments like these. In my opinion JoeF did not flame on qwerty''s comments.

However it is pointless to respond to childish provocations and non-constructive criticism.

Move on.
Rahul

Whatever dude.

Nice condecending attitude - exactly what gets up everyones nose from JoeF.

It's also laughable that you don't see the obvious flame from JoeF as a flame and you let him continue to post his childish tag line.

Rahul, will you revisit that thread again with clear mind??
members, see below closed thread
http://boards.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?t=158413
And tell me that who started flame there?? We were having good discussion on that thread and members started posting their "real" experience and suddenly JoeF intruded with "not so nice" comments about me. And still you supported him. And when I raised conserns about JoeF's flame, you closed that thread
and issue me a warning!!!! :D :D What kind of moderator thinks its fair and balance??

Please enlighten all members about reasons behind your actions.

All JoeF said was that he repeated the same advice to you (6 month rule of thumb) and you flamed him. Is it true ? I dont know and I dont care - Its a different forum and you had a different userid (apparantly). And allegedly, you got banned once from a different forum...

Noone flamed anyone in that thread but you it was the verge of turning into a flame war. So I closed the thread. Simple. I did not warn you OR JoeF!

When you reopened another thread with the same title , I anticipated a flame war and asked you to keep your comments civic and ignore JoeF's comments (if he flames you on this forum in future please let me know). Thats it. If JoeF had posted in the new thread any derogatory info about you (which he has not until now) then I would have warned him as well.

Why make such a big deal of it . You want to know "real" experiences of people right ? Go after that. Ignore JoeF and other flamers/trolls/spammers. Focus on what you are here for .... Information

Enough said :(

Rahul,
There is hot debate in "Life after GC" forum regarding "6 month rule of thumb" rule. (i.e GC holder has to stay atleast 6months with sponserer), many members disagreed with this notion. and many members has contacted lawyers and verified that there is no such things. Even veteran member "dsatish" changed his job after 3 months after GC with Rajiv Khanna's advice.

So all I want to know from this forum that if anybody got trouble with CIS at time citizenship because of this issue?? Thats it. And JoeF intruded that thread as usual with "not so nice" comment" about me. And instead of warning JoeF , you accused me of starting flame in this post.
:D :D
And all I was asking you at first, to be fair and don't take side unwarrentedly Thats it. And you acted exactly opposite. Why?

Like I said,

I dont care about "Life after GC" forum. I dont know veteran "dsatish". My point is - behave on the "US Citizenship forum". If you got a problem with JoeF, take it OFFLINE

Exactly. You don't know anything about that issue. Thats why Everybody want to hear real experiences., Reopen previous thread and delete "flamed" comments and issue warning to JoeF "not to intrude" again. .Thats it.

As a good rule of the thumb, 6 months after you get your Green Card! I heard of a story where someone got an RFE for changing his job a few weeks after getting his green card.

A hearing later found that he did not act in good faith and was summarily deported. Watch out!
