My husband was here on a H1B and now has lost it for illegal doings and was forced to leave the country. I had a H4 through him. When do I loose my H4 or have I even lost it? Also goverment never notified me to inform me he was sent out, am i still legal or not?

H4 is dependent of H1. You were allowed to come to the US as a H4 only because he had a H1. The day he lost his status, you lost yours. It is your husband so the government probably assume that you know what's happening to him. How long ago did he leave? You may be able to switch to another status but I am not sure about that.

I think Obelix1 is correct.
H1 petition might be still valid on paper, but since he was deported, his H1 status is pretty much stripped away.
It's better to talk to lawyer, but I guess odds is against you, unfortunately.
