I got my PP at NYC on Dec. 14, 2001, but AVM still play old message " The case has been approved ....".

ND: 02/15/01
AD: 12/03/01
PP: 12/14/01 ( NYC)

Does anyone get the actual card from VSC and pp at NYC recently ?

I am on the same boat

Get pp stamped on Nov. 7 at philly. Still play the same old message" this case has been approved". However, the IIO told me to wait for six months while I was stamping. Any thoughts?
 
Has anybody checked with the local office?

I called the VSC a week ago and was told that NYC office has not
sent my documents to the service center. I am wondering if NYC
office just needs a little longer time to process the documents.

Any thoughts?

I got my stamp in NYC 0n Nov.1, and received my card on Jan.15. So,
don\'t worry, the card is on the way.

Stamping in NYC - Message changed on AVM(802-527-4913)....stamped 21st Dec\'01.

It says \'On Jan25th,2002 after approving your application we ordered you a new card. It is taking 365 days.\'.

Any idea when I should get the card in hand???
 
Can I claim unemployment benfit after getting GC ?

I got my I-485 approved on Dec.2001, but I lost my job last summer
( August, 2001 )
Can I claim unemployment benfit ?
Will it cause any problem about my GC or citizenship in the furture ?
Dose anyone share this experience ?

Got mine yesterday. Passport was stamped November 22 in Arlington. Funny enough Automated Voice Message @ Vermont haven\'t been updated - still sais "Your case has been approved".
