As an International student what travel documents do I need to travel back to the mainland.I am presently at the US Virgin Islands. I have with me my I-20, I-94 and a letter from the University indicating my status as an enrolled student. Do I still need a passport? My Philippine passport expired last April 6, 2005 while waiting for my I 94. Do I have to present to tthe port of entry my expired passport. I am renewing my passport at the Philippine Embassy in Washington as soon as I get to the mainland. Any comments please? Thanks

if the flight is considered an international flight and you have to go through the Immigration inspection, then you MUST have an unexpired passport. If it is considered an domestic flight, then you will be fine with just driver's license. Call the airline and ask.
