I am planning to get my passport stamped next week, can anyone tell me what docs I have to bring along with me ?

Thanks in advance

It should all be listed on the approval notice sent to you:

It should all be listed on the approval notice sent to you:
- Approval notoce itself
- Passports
- Photographs
- Any I-94-s that you may have
- APs
- EADs

That's it I think..

dont forget Infopass appointment printout.

I took exact same documents as stated above and got stamped.

EADs and AP's

Will they scrutinize and check how many EADs and APs have been issued to you ? or will they just take what you have in hands ?

Thanks in advance !

I just gave them everything I had back. The officer just took the stuff and didn't ask a question.
Not sure if she would have questioned if something was missing..

the immigration officer did not even look at the EAD and APs. She asked "any EAD and AP". I gave them all.

But when I went to status change from F-1 to H1 and stamping in Canada(Ottawa) long back, The immigration officer asked all the EADs(PT). I had two ( 6 months each)and I gave the latest and he asked for the first one which I had in the file and was not able to easily find out. He waited till I got the EAD and said all these documents are property of INS and should be surrendered.

thanks again Parshu

BTW, I am just curious; are you sure it was INS that stamped your passport in Ottawa, Canada ? Maybe it was US consulate/embassy which is not under DOJ or Homeland Security but under Dept of State.

Also, were you with Eftia in Ottawa. I was assigned there when in Ottawa so I thought you might be someone I used to know

Yes it was US COnsulate in Ottawa.

And I have no idea what is Eftia you are mentioning below. I just went to Ottawa once for the H-1 stamping.
