Gurus/Experts
I am one of the early June filers and I am planning to use AC21 for job change. I am sure this information would be very helpful to others as well who are thinking in these lines.
Before I move on I wanted to get all the docs I would need from the company. There is one issue, they will not give me the originals for 140 and 485, and if I have to get that they will ask me to pay for the all GC expenses they have incurred so far.
As of now I have these docs.
1. Copy of 485 receipts.
2. Copy of I 140 receipts.
3. Original I 140 courtesy copy [New company lawyer told me it will not substitue the original I 140 receipts]
4. Original 797s for all my H1s
5. Original EAD and APs
6. All my pay stubs for 180+ days after filing of 485, and tax returns for previous years.
Do you gurus see any issues with not having the originals? Or I'd need any other docs before I move on.
I have read in some threads that one can request copies of receipts from USCIS. Can someone please post the details on how to request the receipts again?
