Do you know how long after I should get a "FINGERPRINT notice

Dear members,
I sent my N400 application for citizenship on July 29, 2010 & received application number on Aug 5th,2010. Since then I haven't received any FP notice. Its over 2 months of mailing in my N400 and tracking it online everyday. Its still saying "INITIAL REVIEW"?. Do you know how long after I should get a "FINGERPRINT notice"? I can’t believe its taking over 2 months just to get a FINGERPRINT notice.

You should get FP within 1-3 months of filing application. Since it's already been 2 months, you should schedule Infopass to determine if/when your FP will be scheduled.

New york is so unpredictable just hang in there or as bobsmyth said get an info pass, have you call the 800 number and ask if your in the que for finger print date. and its been 10 weeks since you received your NOA, thats a long time,call them up now!
 
Check the receipt notice carefully, is the address correct? Anything wrong with apt#? You could have got lucky once and not a second time. You are past due for a FP appt.
