Those Youtube vedios posted show there is such question asked
"Did you ever make a trip outside USA and when and how long etc"

Do we have to memorize details?

No, you're not expected to memorize your acid trips, but you can make a copy of your N-400 to reference travel trips during the interview.

Are we allowed to take a look at copy of N-400 during the inetrview?

The N-400 interview is not an exam that you take in school or college where you have to memorize certain details so that the knowledge retention (or not) can be tested later. The N-400 interview is conducted to determine whether you have met the criteria for American citizenship.

Of course you can refer to a copy of the N-400 to ensure that you have the appropriate answers to any questions the IO may have.

Yes, certainly. The IO will likely just skim over your application question by question with you instead of testing your knowledge of what you initially provided on application.

At my interview the IO didn't ask me questions from the N-400, he just asked if they were correct. For instance, is your birth date xx/xx/xxxx? and you reply either yes or no.
