Do they mention about fingerprints appt/notice on NOA?

Friends,

I have received NOA (notice of action) yesterday and it doesn't have any information about fingerprints appointment notice (i.e., that i will be getting a fp notice ... etc etc) or any thing like that. But it says that I will be getting the interview letter.

Is this common?

Yes, the NOA doesn't mention about FP. You'll get a FP letter and then IL letter.
