Hi all,

I am a US citizen and my wife's initial interview for GC is next
week.

She was on F-1 and then got OPT (EAD) for an year before
moving onto H-1 visa.

Do they ask for the old EAD during the interview ? The problem
is that we lost the EAD card, but we have a photo copy of
it.

Will this create a problem for getting her green card ?

Thank you so much for your help.

Thank you very much.

We will carry the photocopy of our lost EAD to the initial GC interview.

they just collected them all from me, since I didn't need them anymore. I had several of them, she didn't count to make sure I had them for all of the periods of authorized employment. If you don't have it - you don't have it. Even if she worked illegally, she will be forgiven. :)

Thanks, LucyMO.

I am trying to search for the documents (joint tax, pictures etc)
to take for the GC interview.

Could you please point me to where they are listed on this website.

Thanks
Sun

everything and anything joint you have (bills, insurance, credit cards, accounts, utilities, vacations, taxes, purchases, deeds, titles, registrations) and showing that you live together and that the marriage is bona fide - take it.
