DIFFERENT VISA/I-797 & PASSPORT EXPIRY DATE

I Went To Pakistan On May 28th And Came Back To U S A On June 18 2005

My Visa On Passport Was Valid Till 31st July 2005

My I-797 Was Valid Till Feburary 2006

My Passport Was Valid Till September 12 , 2005

At Point Of Entry The Officer Told Me That He Can Give Me Entry Valid Till September 12th 2005 Till My Passport Validity Date.

but since he was confused he gave me i-94 valid till september 15 ,2005 instead of september 12, 2005

He Told Me Once I Renew My Passport Then I Can Go To Immigration Building And Get My I-94 Date Extended Till Feburary 2006

WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW .......... PLS HELP


Did Any Body Face This Situation Before . Please Let Me Know Do I Have To Get An Appoitment In Federal Plaza Building And How Can I Explain This Situation To Them

Nothing to panic. Go and get your pp renewed first. Now a days I 94 dates have 10 days grace period. You got 3 days.

Follow the POE officer's instruction to get your new I94 card with extended date after pp renewal.

Nothing to worry. First renew your pp immediately. And follow the instruction of the POE officer.
 
What Do U Mean By Poe Officer Instruction

DREAT GRUE

WHERE SHOULD I GO AFTER RENEWING MY PASSPORT .

SHOULD I GO TO IMMIGRATION OFFICER AT THE POE I MEAN AT JFK AIRPORT

OR SHOULD I GO TO FEDERAL PLAZA BUDILING IN NEWYORK CITY


DO I HAVE TO GET THE APPOINTMENT TO FIX THIS

PLS HELP
