Did you hug your green card today?

I know it may be the silliest thing you ever heard, but did you hug your permanent resident card today? I have waited for this thing for 11 years and thus I stare at it at least an hour a day over the last month. I even take it to the park and have a conversation with it. Do not call me psychotic because I am telling you: it feels so fu.ken good to own this thing. It is high tech too. If you look at the back you will actually see your picture in a shadow like form. It is amazing thing to finally have a fu.ken home after staying homeless for 11 years. People: we are so blessed to have this thing. I hope those who do not have it get it soon.
 
My friend Shamshon, I know how you feel about your card. I am warning you to be careful because if you take that card to the park and you loose it, you will have to wait a year for another one. I suggest you make a copy of it and take it to the park. Enjoy your freedom :)

I know what you mean my friend. It feels good to have it after 13 years. I do something different with my card: I actually pet it every day and tell it bedtime stories. :D
 
Sounds freaky scarry to me. Hug a piece of plastic and stare in it for 1 hour every day. I wish, I have your free time to do that.

As all stages in this asylum based cases, every phase is just a step to another waitting until citizenship, so I personally don't pay much attention on the intermediate phases. The final result wil be something to satisfy me completely.
