Did Anyone receieve letter from NEWARK for PP Stamping ? May-15th Victim

Folks I got a phone call on Sat june 1

Newark PP stamping folks,

I got a call from the US immigration on Sat. June 1st asking whether I had
got my passport stamped and I replied "yes" and they said "Oh! OK".

So it looks like Newark INS office has started calling the folks who went previously and
did not get their passport stamped.
It also appears that they have confused the list of the people who have their passport stamped
and who do not have their passport stamped

I did receive the call on Sat. at about 9:00 a.m. I had got my passport stamped earlier
on 5/22/02, where they had done their background check on the same day.

About 20 minutes later my spouse also got a similar call, so thats where I figured that
they might have confused the list with the folks who had their passport stamped and the ones who
had been told to come later.

Exact conversation----

Immigration Person: Are you so and so.
Me: Yes
Immigration Person: Did you go the Immigration office recently to get your pssport stamped?
Me: Yes
Immigration Person: Did they stamp you passport?
Me: Yes
Immigration Person: They did?
Me: Yes
Immigration Person: Oh OK.

and that was the end of the call.
 
Since how many days are you waiting.

Do you know any thing that how much time they will take to call us back for PP stamping

Please post your details about when did you went for first time stamping and what did they told and what documents they took.I went for stamping on June 1st and they said they need to do security check.Please post your message.

PP Stamped

Hi All,
       I got my passport stamped yesterday. I reached at
7.30 AM & came out at 4PM...Yue! Do not go on Mondays as
the staff were telling that Monday they get maximum people.
They asked if this was my second visit and I said yes. Then
they asked if I was called. I said no & that I just walked in.
Then the IIO checked with her boss and stamped the PP. She took
my EAD, and the May 15th form, but returned the Original Approval.
I check with her if the Photos & finger print were sent to INS
for the card or will they be sent now that the PP has been stamped.
She had no clue. This is scary. By having a close look as to how
they function, I am sure till we get our Card we need to keep our
fingers crossed. Please someone start a link for this.

So all go and get your PP stamped.

Also did you show the May 15th letter at the gate downstairs??

       After GC Stamping do we have to change anything
at the Employer side for any tax benefits ETc.
