I have applied for my I140 & I485 from Texas service center on Aug 2nd.
I have got the receipt for i140 but not for I485.when can i expect that?. I have contacted the law firm they are saying INS kept the file aside and not cashed the check also.gurus help me wht should I do...
 
Regarding receipts and concurrent filing

Two of my friends who did concurrent filing got their all checks cleared and one of them who filed on 22nd september got his receipts also. They did with Texas Center.
I am still waiting for my checks to be cashed, which was received by Vermont on 29th noon. Please update if anyone applied in the same timeframe with VERMONT and got their checks cleared or received reciepts.

LC is JAN 2002.

You can call TSC and get receipt #s

I did my concurrent filing on 9/19 and did not get my SRC #s for my I 485. I called TSC @ 1 800 375 5283, then pressed option 1, then option 2, then option 6, then option 2, then option 2, and then option 1. You will now be put on hold for approx 30 minutes. Once you get the representative on line you can say that you have not received your SRC #, I was just asked my last name and date of birth and then the USCIS representative gave me the receipt number. Hope you can also get your receipt #s this way.

My details:

EB2 (PERM)
Concurrent filing of I 485 / I 140 / EAD / AP on Sep 19
RD on all Sep 21
LUD on AP 10/2
AP approved 10/4
 
I called the uscis. they are not able to trace the file.my Case details

TSC/EB2
Concurrent filing of I 485 / I 140 / EAD / AP on Aug 2nd
RD is Aug 2nd
I140 went in RFE
I485 no Idea no recipt number

What should i do ????..

did u get SRC # for your EAD / AP / I 140 ? and not just I 485. You should have 1 SRC # each for your I 140, I 485, I 131 & I 765.

If you got a SRC # for EAD & AP that means that the application for I 485 was received by USCIS. If you did not receive SRC# for EAD & AP, the u could be in a problem given the retrogression. I hope that is not the case and you application is just lost in the USCIS system.

Iam new to these forums and Immigration process.So I do not know that I have to get
SRC# for I 131 & I 765 also. I will call and find out . Thanks

No check has cash still date and No receipt Number from VSC
 
I guess there might have so many applications filed in the last week of September.
Usually this could take a while to send receipt notices. May be by next week we (attorneys) will receive them.
Regarding the checks it depends most of the people will write checks to their attorney, intern he will issue his own checks to DHS on behalf of us.
But some attorneys prefer writing checks directly to DHS.
We wrote checks to our attorney.

So don’t worry guys may be in another 10 days every one will receive their receipt notices.

my friend filled in AUG 20TH from vermont and he got the receipt number get EAD and PAYROLL approved.. Call and track your filling with the lawyer and INS asthey might lost the file or some thing otherwise will go into retrograssion...
 
I filed concurrently on Sep 20th at NSC. Received the filing receipts for 140/2485/131/765 on Sep 28th. I am sure there shall be TONS of applications filed by end of Sep and therefore we might be looking at a longer time for our EAD/AP and 140 approvals. Although I wish it really soon.
