We went to the asylum Unit and they told us that they could not help us because the IJ granted my husband the Asylum..
Went back to the Immigration Court and they told us only my husband got asylum because he was in proceedings but not us.. Why did the IJ take my daughters and my pictures and asked if we are in the application and if were present at the hearing which I was and he was writing something on another paper..
Im lost can someone please help.
I am lost too. You and your daughter should have got derivative asylum status. However, your husband can do a follow to join since you were married before the asylum grant. Your husband will have to fill out form I-730 to petition for you and your daughter. You really don't need an attorney for this. However, if your attorney owes you service, have him fill it out for you guys.
