Is there anybody with primary approved and derivative waiting. If so how long you have been waiting? Just to have an idea. I have been waiting for a week.
Thanks

You need to be more explicit, your post leaves a lot of questions unanswered,
e.g. did you file together, seperate, if so with how much time, etc., before you can garner a half way decent answer as to expected time.

A standard rule of thumb implies that if cases are filed together approvals are normally granted at the same time. But this is the INS we are talking about, and anything can happen. So I don't think you can get a good answer for this question.

Mine (and child's) case has been approved July 7, 2004 but my wife's case is still pending.
All applications has been submitted at the same time although last FP done separately (one week difference).

Apps submitted at the same time, 2nd FP done at the same time, mine was approved on Aug 11, my spouse is still not approved. ???

Apps submitted 1 month apart. 1st FP done seperately. 2nd FP done together, although dependant's 2nd FP notice was for a later date. Primary applicant approved. Secondary applicant still waiting.

I mean to ask those who filed at the same time and one is approved and another waiting. It is obvious that the dates will be different for those who apply in different dates.

Both apps were filed together. Both FP were done together. My case was transferrred to the local office in May for an interview. The dependant's case is still in TSC.

Hopefully you have heard what they say about assum(e)ing things? Specially when it comes to immigration issues, more so in dealings with the INS.

When you post a question for which you expect lucid answers, it is in your best interests to provide as much information as possible, since that helps people who will be answering the questions understand all perspectives. What might be so obvious to you will definitely not be to someone else.

And as you can see from the answers above, the pattern is that there is NO Pattern, this is the INS we are talking about, so be warned to expect the unexpected.

All our applications were done at the same time. My wife, myself and my son were approved on July 22, my youngest daughter was approved on July 27. My oldest daughter who was under 14 yrs old when we applied is now 15. When we got our 2nd FP notice in April they didn't give her one. On July 30 they issued an RFE for her, which received and responded, "pay $60.00 for fingerprinting. They received the RFE on Aug 12. I sent a level 1 & 2 fax inquiry last week, no change to the LUD...still waiting.
