Derivative NP+GC=OK to travel?

Hello everybody! Need your input on the following:
My asylum status is derivative from my husband, and I'm NOT from my husband's COP. I have recently (finally) got my CG and would like to travel to my country to visit my relatives. Questions:
1) Is that ok if I will go back to my country (which is NOT a COP) using my still valid NP?
2) Is combination of NP+GC will be enough to enter back to USA or I need to apply for RTD.
Thank you, your input is appreciated.

YES

Just GC + NP will be enough. Have a good trip.

Thank you, your input is appreciated.

Cong.... on receiving your GC. Since u received your GC through Asylum my best advise for u, will be to wait until u become a citizens. But if u have to go then u have to go. if u decide to go back home then ur NP+GC is good.

Hi lisa99, thank you for input, but I do not intend to travel to Country Of Persecution. My husband - principal asylee from one country=COP, I'm derivative asylee from OTHER country.

Hi opinion,

I think u should be fine since the approved asylum was based on ur husband country. but just to be on a safety side, u might want to ask a good lawyer that question. good luck and pls post any update.

Hey opinion,

In my opinion, you are good to go! Even if you are sent to secondary room, you have an explanation. Have a nice trip and keep us posted on how your trip went.
