Dear Friends
I have a question if one of you know plz advise me
I am derivative asylee through my wife she is from a different country and my country is different. So is it possible for me to go to my country with out any problem and come back to US. Or may be we both can go to my country and come back to US. is it possible ????
thank you in advance

You can't go to the country whereyou or your wife are facing persecution or having fear to be persecuted due to race political opinion nationality and so on. You and your wife can go anywhere else.

To clarify

If you and your wife lived in your wife's country and she was persecuted there and she applied for asylum as a main applicant based on her persecution in her country, yes you can go to your country safely and she can go to your country as well.
If, you actually claimed in your application that she or both of you were persecuted in both countries, than you cannot.

Alex

Thank you sir

I appricate ur quick responce sir. But we don't have any fear in my country. On the contrary, if we go to her country we will be in big prob and thats y we don't even think of going there. We both know that we r safe here in States.
Again , if we dont have any fear in my country can we go there with the permission of INS?
Thanks

Yes you can.

HI!

You cannot go back to the country of your citizenship, the country you (or your wife) claimed prosecution from, the country that issued you your last passport.
But - If your native country is NOT the country of claimed prosecution, then you both can safely go there with RTDs and visas (if required).

ayyubov! you mentioned that you are a field engineer. YOu don't seem to be "on field" much rather on your computer all the time. :)

Why don't you open a separate Thread if it is so important. Other people might be intersted in my background. And what is your point? I work for NCR and on call 24X7. Other times I'm home. If you got any more questions feel free to ask. Please don't ask for SS number, it's confidential info :).

You can try at www.firstlinesolutions.com (it's a part of NCR) I know they are hiring for sure. And also www.ncr.com . Mostly its a ATM's level 1 and 2. DELL technical support (NCR handles it for DELL) and financial engineering (registers, self checkouts and so on. Try it. Good benefits and very good pay.
Good luck.
