why didn't ICE deport you mom also for being illegal? did you get caught doing something else?

If you're outside the US and subject to the 10-year bar you have no hope unless you get a waiver. Since you were deported over a year ago it is unlikely your waiver application would be successful.

ksam, my mom wasn´t deported because we weren´t living at the same place and i wasn´t caught doing anything illegal other than overstaying my visa.

canadian, i don´t know if my waiver will proceed that´s why we have a lawyer working on my case and he says it´s not that big a deal as long as we find my case number if anybody knows how to get it, please respond this thread.

The waiting time for citizens' unmarried children over 21 is already more than 6 years. So even if you get a waiver you still have a long long time to wait anyway.

canadian, the case number i´m looking for is the one from my deportation i don´t know if i should call the immigration office or the prison i was held in until i was deported, jacko, waiting 6 years to get my green card still beats never getting it, i guess i´ll have to wait.
