Denied for a student visa , any chance to get the DV visa ?

well , i've been denied for the student visa three times , and this year i won in the DV lottery 2012, i have all the requirments including bachelor's degree and no criminal records .................ect

so do i have a chance as others to get the DV lottery visa ?

I guess you got denied for the student visa because the thought you wont leave the country after its expiration? Immigrant visa is a different story, I dont see any reasons for you not to get it.

hi there, i have also been denied a visa to the usa 3 times tho mine was visitors. But i had a successful interview last week for dv 2011. U shud be fine

You did not say WHY the F-1 was denied BUT it is likely that you were seen as an "intending immigrant" which is the whole point of the DV as an immigrant visa. The two visas are polar opposites. Good luck on the DV processing.
