Delayed Clearance - Will Visa be Denied?

my cp interview was in early february and i was not given visa because the police clerance had not come thru from another country. embassy had sent they will wait for police clearance.

i called today to police in another country and they just posted it today to US embassy.

my problem is my number is only current for february and February finishes in 2 days time and mail will not come to US embassy in time before end of february.
will i be denied visa if it does not reach embassy before february end. most likely they will get it next week or early march

and if they will still process visa then will i have to go back in line and wait for some number or how long will it be

please help me on this matter

Don't worry. The deadline for getting DV visa is Sep. 30. You can get your visa from your interview time to Sep. 30.

For CP the interview itself must happen within the month in which the number is current, and you've had yours. No need to worry.

The medical results have to be submitted before the interview is conducted I believe. It's necessary to pass it or the visa can't be issued accordingly.
 
Dear Princess07,

Both for AOS and CP if you go to the interview without your medicals all that will happen is they will approve you but not stamp your passport, and ask you to provide the missing documents asap.

If interview did not happen in month of number is current then It'll be deleted the case for CP DV2007?

Thanx Barbara. Do you know what happens if the vaccination history is not available.

How long before the interview did you do the medicals?

It isn't so. Since the numbers become current in a cumulative way, you cannot get an interview BEFORE your number becomes current, but you can get an interview at any time after your number becomes current and as long as numbers are still available for your country/region. Whereas the numbers are sort of "reserved" for the month, and then released if not used, if you get the missing docs to the consulate the next month, you will get your visa IF there are still visas left.

For example, in the former Soviet republics the interviews are scheduled with a delay of about a month. My parents' number became current in March, however, their interview was scheduled for April, and after two weeks of administrative processing, their visas were issued in May.

so, everybody with a number below that can get a visa, whether your number is 03101 or 15,099. But if your number is 15101, you can't.
