December Interview Dates Announced??

They were on vacation earlier or otherwise did not want to have an interview before December. Either rescheduling or unwillingness to schedule earlier from the very beginning.

I also thought that it might be a rescheduling??
impossible :Diversity Visa appointments cannot be rescheduled for reasons other than serious medical or similar emergencies. A DV reschedule request will only be considered if it is accompanied by a medical report or other documentation regarding the emergency reason.

I don't think so. Ankara might be the only one having this page..
By the way, there are much more AS numbers than EU numbers. %90 of AS are from Iran I think.

every embassy have this page whit the interview schedule? i dont find for tirana albania

There is about the same amount Nepalese as Iranians. And there are more than 2 times more europeans over asians in DV-14

That must be embassy dependent. The consulate I used rescheduled at least two interviews that I am aware of, for definitely non-emergency reasons. It's not a particularly busy one though, so they can probably be more flexible than some others.

What he/she is getting at is that there is no US embassy in Iran, so they will mostly do their interviews at the US embassy in Ankara, Turkey. He/she was just speculating about the numbers at the US embassy in Ankara.

I would say he/she is right.

Embassies do accommodate none medically based DV interview requests. There are known embassies that have accommodated such requests in the past and they weren't based on medical reasons!

Iranians are interviewed mainly in 3 consulates - Ankara, UEA, Yerevan, and 3 more small consulates - Frankfurt, Naples and Vienna. Almost half of iranians are interviewed in Ankara. Also, quite a number of local population from Turkey are also interviewed in Ankara, but there are more iranians.

As Susie says it is possible - and even at Ankara they will do it, but only for serious reasons as they say. So it isn't IMPOSSIBLE at all.

Also, if someone were to miss an appointment in Ankara and Ankara said - "sorry can't reschedule", the applicant would only need to contact KCC to setup the new appointment and they would be interviewed. Assuming their number is current and visas are left they are ENTITLED to an interview, whatever the Ankara staff want to say....

britsimon,

I have job offer and company is looking forward me to start asap. They and immigration lawyers are ready to provide a letter to expedite the process and asking to change the interview date to the earliest date possible. Do you think that the embassy will do it? Or it is not possible.. It is not medical emergency etc...

In my opinion it's possible, but highly dependent on the particular embassy / consulate. If it's an embassy that's extremely busy, they would be less inclined to give you an expedite. Still, it doesn't hurt to try, the worst that they can say is 'no', then you just need to come at the originally scheduled date.

I believe your CN is EU106XX right - so at the moment your case is not current, but you will be current in December. If you are saying you would prefer to get an early December date, then that might be possible (although not by any means certain). If however you want an October or November date I would say that is not likely. I'd be very surprised if they would do that, even for a good reason such as yours. Still as Hexa says - why not have a go - as Hexa says, the worst they can say is NO.

Yeah, my CN is 106XX. I hope to be 'current' in December and I'm certain that they will not accept Oct or Nov date but I'll give a try for Dec when my interview date is set, lets see what happens..
