Dec 2003/ FP Not yet recd??!!

Hi all,

I see a lot of FP notices being recd. for 2004 cases. My RD is 12/3/2003. Haven't recd. my FP yet. Any Dec 2003 filers who have not recd. FP yet?

FYI. I am a July 2003 and rcvd FP only this month so I would guess you should be getting it by next month end
 
Yes,i do see a lot of 2004 getting their finger printing,Mine rd was dec 8 2003 ,no fp yet:confused: :( suck

Hey ssampy.

The FP notices depend on the schedule at the local ASC's so if yours is fairly busy, it might take a bit longer to get it. The one near me (in Fort Worth, TX) seems to be pretty quiet and I got my FP notice back in August (my ND is 10/23/03 ND).

I'm also pretty sure that many people from late 2003 (or even earlier) still haven't received their FP notice. I'd say that if it doesn't show up within the next 1-3 months then you might want to call the USCIS about it.

Thanks for the detailed reply ETA! My ASC would be Norfolk, I guess. I only hope that's the only reason for the delay. Have you renewed your EAD/AP?

I don't have AP but I am planning on renewing my EAD in a few weeks (if the GC doesn't come by then -- I don't think the odds of that are too high though). I'm still working on my H (good for a couple more years) so I don't need the EAD (or AP) currently but my company seems willing to pay for the EAD renewal so I may as well get it "just in case" (and maybe it will trigger an approval...). My current EAD expires in February 2005 so hopefully renewing it in mid-November will be soon enough (I think VSC is doing these pretty quickly now).
