Dear Friends: I need suggestions? Applicant Name Typo

Today I received my NOA Letter.

Here is what happened (I still can not believe)

My Full Name is xxxxx xxxxx

Whats written in the "Applicant Name and Mailing Address" part is xxxxx N. xxxxx

I think this is happened because I put (N/A) in the middle name part when I submitted my application.

NOW WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

FYI: F/P Letter is already mailed.

Just make sure that your name is correct on your oath and certificate prep sheet when you finish your N-400 interview so that it will be printed correctly on a Certificate.

I do know if the new middle name may cause problems at the FP Interview and/or during the FBI name check.

Yes indeed. In fact the NOA letter clearly states please call or mail the office if you see any errors. Your FBI name check will be done on the current name. Interview is too late to correct this fundamental mistake. Inform USCIS now. If at FP your name is wrong, have that corrected so that at least your FP is recorded properly.

Yep, for sure, its a fundamental mistake.

And I guess F/P letter will have the same error since it was already mailed.

I will send a letter tomorrow + I will ask for correction at the time of F/P thing.

I will post my experience. I hope that it can be fixed
