Dallas Backlog Elimination Center Tracking

Question on NoN-RIR case

Guys,

I am a silent viewer of this forum.
Thanks to everyone who are providing valuable information.

I recently received an reply from my Lawyer saying

"My case would be treated as an RIR since the recruiting has already been done"

Now can you guys please tell me what does this mean?

Will my case go to RIR queue or would remain in NON-RIR queue? :confused:

My PD is May 2003 (Non-RIR)

Even though that seems to be the only way to find any information about your case, be careful. We have never seen anyone running into trouble due to this, but if they want to do something to damage your case, they sure can.

Yea they will send you your case status but do you really think that your case will be approved anytime soon??? What will you gain by knowing your case status now other than slowing donw the already slow BEC??

Yes. I had asked for a screenshot from Dallas BEC on 07/14/05. I had received a response on 7/15/05 saying that my case was certified.

How long they (office at Dallas BEC ) wait for the 45-day response before they close the case?

How long it take for them to change the status to “RIR” after receiving the response to 45-day letter?

I dont think the lawer meant to say that your case would be in RIR que but she might be trying to tell you that since your case has already gone through recruitment the only thing left to be done is get DOL signature. So there is nothing in it for getting rejected and the amout of work is not much. So kind of risk free case only a matter of time.
This is what my lawer told me, not much to do so just wait.
This is my understanding.
 
I don't really care much about whether it's been certified or not....you're absolutely right...it makes no difference. I just want to be sure that they haven't closed my case inadvertently.
Keeping my fingers crossed........ :confused:
 
It take 3 and a half month to mail a LC?

Very Strange :confused: it took them almost 4 months to mail the approval ..
 
Good News

Finally the good news

My HR informed me today that my LC is approved
Here are the details:

EB2/RIR/California
PD: August 19, 2002
RD: SFO, July 2003
45-day letter received and responded: February 15, 2005

I do not have the copy of my approval with me for other details.

Don't worry about that, there was some problem in their system.

what is your case status?

what is your PD and when did you reply for 45 day letter?

Understandable. But if you claim it is for 7th year H1B extension while it is not, you can be in hot water if they catch you. Otherwise good luck.

I wanted to make sure my case was not closed having been spooked reading such posts. Only thing to gain is if the case was closed they I would have bugged my attorney to re-open it (my attorney and employer r kindaa unresponsive....I do not trust them to inform me or take action unless prompted if my case is closed).
