Thanx a lot.
considering the trend ,sept&oct csaes will be
over by this month.Only RFE cases will be pending.
So nov 01 will start in march first week, provided
no war,no attack to US interest.
So let us pray for peace&good for the mankind

My analysis:

Total of Jul-Oct applicants on Rupnet: 832

Consider a 75% approval is an indication of completion of adjudication, then posted approvals are expected to be 624

As of now there are a total of 397 approvals posted.

Cases remain to be approved: 227

NSC approves cases at a rate of approx. 40 per week (Rupnet)

Prediction: It will take 5-6 weeks to finish Oct cases. In other words, they will basically finish Oct RD cases by end of March, 2003.

any updates on the approvals

Ani,

Could you please post any changes or new approvals from your sources?

Thanks
galab

Estimated Time Frames

Based on the number of cases outstanding and the rate at which the NSC is getting through them, here are my estimates as to when the first pass processing (First RFE or Approval) should be completed for each RD month. I have attached my spreadsheet with the data I used to reach these conclusions.

Nov 01 04/10/03
Dec 01 04/24/03
Jan 02 05/05/03
Feb 03 05/14/03
Mar 04 05/22/03
Apr 05 05/30/03

FYI I am using 85% as my completion factor for each month and assuming 30 new cases worked (1st RFE or Approval) per week. It also assumes that the Rupnet data is a representative random sample of NSC cases and that all other things remain constant.

excellent analysis, paul...

my RD is 2/2002, and i had estimated that cases for that month would be touched anywhere after mid May, which is exactly what your analysis also predicts. (of course, my analysis was much more "seat-of-the-pants"!)

BTW, i am assuming that the years stated in your last post against RD months Feb thru Apr are all '02, rather than '03, '04 and '05. could you please confirm if this was a typo?

thanks, again, bud!

thanks for the clarification! BTW, old chap...

...hope you are going to stick around for a bit after your approval, and let us have the benefit of your analysis.

good luck!
