Cut off numbers for April is here

For April, immigrant numbers in the DV category are available to qualified DV-2011 applicants chargeable to all regions/eligible countries as follows. When an allocation cut-off number is shown, visas are available only for applicants with DV regional lottery rank numbers BELOW the specified allocation cut-off number:

AFRICA 35,450 Except: Egypt 27,600

ASIA 19,250 Ethiopia 22,150

EUROPE 23,200 Nigeria 14,100

N. AMERICA 8 Except: Bangladesh 18,350

OCEANIA 1,000

S. AMERICA 1,075
 
How did you know this data? Can you tell us the source? It is not officially out yet in the DOS website. Thanks
 
hello house, please i will like to file for my wife but i will like u to assist me with some questions about DS230.
1. will i be the one to fill the form for her or she will fill her own by herself.
2. in her own form who is the petiotioner and who is the applicant
3. who will be the one to sign the column of applicants signature

I am from Bangladesh. I don't understand yet Asia sl. no. is 19250> except: Bangladesh 18350.:confused:

If you case number is below 18350 and you are from Bangladesh, you might have to wait for your number to become current. Hopefully, it will current in May 2011.
So, my guess is, if everything goes well, you should receive your interview appointment letter (assuming you are doing Consular Processing at US Embassy in Dhaka) by the end of April 2011. Hope this will help.

Be patient. You will be fine. May is not too bad! There are people waiting for it until the end of the FY 2011.
