Hi LucyMO.

I'm worried about my case, because I know a few people in my region that have a higher case number than me and they have scheduled theirs enterviews. I called KCC last Monday and I was told that I would get an enterview in August but I would have to call back around July 20th in order to obtain the interview date. My questions are:

1- Do I have to wait until September cut-off in order to be scheduled my interview? I have a low case number (SA180x) in this current cut-off (SA2300), around 500 numbers above me.

2- Will I have time to organize and complete my docs if they scheduled me an interview for August around July 20th? The first NL had a delay of 2 months!

you have to have your docs ready now, do not wait for august or september. The only thing you can leave for later is medical exam.

as to your first question, nobody knows whether and when your interview will be scheduled, but KCC.
 
Thanks Lucy Mo. I thought that once your number become current you would have privileges to obtain your interview date over others that still are not current. But I see that I'm wrong. :confused: :(
 
over the ones that are not current - yes. Over the ones that are current and got their applications to KCC before you - no.
 
my case number is 2005AF36xxx and the bulletin in august is 39500 , i don't get appointment letter until now , is it normal ? and when i expect to get the appointment letter at maxmum .
 
call/email KCC, maybe, you already have an interview scheduled, just never got the letter.
 
thanx lucymo for ur information , i sent email to kcc , when i expect to get the answer ? and is it neccesary to call kcc if the answer is late ?
 
kcc sent to me email that say my interview is in 22 of august , what can i do if the the letter never come , can i go to embassy directly without getting the letter ?

yes, you don't have to have the invitation - you will be on the list at the embassy. Don't forget all the documents and the medical exam - bring the results to the interview.
 
ok i have three question.
1\ what about the medical exam , i think they have aspecial doctors and i think this is written in the notification letter , and what is the time needed befor the interview for medical exam because i live in other contry than interview contry ?.
2\is there any other special decumends or ordered written in the noteficatoin letter , i fair i forget on of them .?
3\ what about the police certification , must i get it from the two cuntry i live on ?
 
i am sorry my friend , the notification letter just com after i write the above messege , this is a great news for me this day.
but i just need to know the commen thing make the visa un available .
 
I have very important question , why the visa is rejected on the interview ? or what is the causes that make the visa not issued at the consular interview ? can you give me the common causes ?

The embassy will have a list of doctors you can get examined by. Do contact the embassy in advance, and make an appointment with a doctor.

Yes, you need police certificates from all countries you live in more than a year. You should have gotten them in advance, some countries are slow in issuing them.

Someone in the net, DV winner too, posted a message with the following information that hold the 2nd letter:

IMPORTANT NOTICE
There is a great demand for Visas in the DV program and a limited number of visas available. Visa numbers are allocated for use only during the month in wich they are allocated. All unused Visa numbers must be returned to the Department of State at the end of each month. These numbers may be reallocated to other nationalities during the following months. Therefore, there is no guarantee that Visas will be available for you or your family at a later day.

What it's the mean of this exactly?

My case number is SA0000180X and the cut-off of the current bulletin is 2300 for August. I know people with number higher than me that have been scheduled for August. I just to call KCC and I was told that I don't have interview date yet, that I have to wait for the next bulletin. If, according to bulletin, visa numbers are allocated for use only during the month in wich they are allocated, how it's possible that I have to wait for this numbers be returned to the Department of State at the end of each month? Do means it that I have to trust that these numbers be reallocated for me region during following months?

I'm very confused! I'm current a month ago!

Got It!!!

Yesterday I called KCC and I was told that my interview date is scheduled for September 14. My case number is SA18XX, a little late but... I got it!

hi , i have some problem with my birth certificat , the place of birth wirrten on it is small vallege near big city (sortod) , in my passport and other decoument the place of birth wirtten is the big city (dongola) , is there any problem ? and what can i do if there is problem ?
plz inform me queckly because my interviev is coming (22nd august)
 
aboalemr, what did you indicate as your birthplace in your applications? As long as it all the same big city, it should be ok.
