CSC-July 2007 Filer-Interview Done

I had filed the N-400 on July 25, 2007. FP done in Sept 2007. Received IL notice on 1/28/08. IL scheduled for 2/25/08

Question - Does an IL imply that the name check is done ?

Normally yes, but I think there has been some posts that end up with the IO saying further namechecks need to be done.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

And.... Congrats!!
 
Congrats!

I've read that the USCIS no longer schedules interviews until the name check has been cleared. However, even if your name check has NOT been completed, you have the right to file 1447(b) lawsuit, if no decision is made on your case within 120 days of the interview. Either way, there's definitely a light at the end of your tunnel.

No IL Yet...

:(Any news on progress for the July timeframe applicantsin in the chicago area or NW Indiana? Any one within my time frame heared any thing? Please respond

That is good and we all know by now that IL depends on your DO. I hope will all get it soon.

My BF is schedule for Oath on Feb. 21, 2008 at the Convention Center.

Congratulations to you!! That is great news. Would you mind telling us what your District Office is? Seems like there is a lot of variation between DOs, even within the state of California, but nonetheless it makes me feel better to know that some July applications are being processed.

CSC-July 2007Filer-Interview Done

Hi

I appeared for the interview and was approved by the Immigration officer ( N-652 received with Approved). I did not ask about the name check and the Officer told me that the Oath Letter will come in the mail soon. So does that mean the name check is done ?
