Make sure that your NC is updated in USCIS system. My NC was cleared in july and so far was not updated in the system.

And people like me who have cleared the NC are still waiting. I don't know how much more review has to be done??? My NC cleared June 21st and they had the whole of July to "system check" and it is almost 2 wks into OCT and nothing's happened..

CSC processing date for 485 shows April 2006. That's more than 8 months after my ND. Anybody with similar or longer wait-time here?

It means CSC can approve in 6 months from the date of filing

Only if if all agencies send there clearences

dont worry me and other friends are waiting for more than a Year to give company to others

This is just very cruel and sad. After years of waiting PD gets current and there is no noise out of CSC. I understand that there are some who are very haughty and abrasive and break the rules left and right. But there is at least a minority who allways played by the rules. What crime did we commit ? What did we do so bad that after almost 3 weeks of Oct, we still dont have anything out of CSC. I sense resignation big time on these thread. All the old timers are probably read to thrown their hat. After all what can we do - we grey hairs and shot by fate.

I feel your pain, qwerty1111. I have been waiting for this PD to be current for two years. Now, CSC seems to just stop processing any 485. Haven't heard any approval for a while.

So we are stuck in namecheck. We have contacted congress representative and senator. We have sent several inquiries through email, attorney, and phone to CSC and we always got the same response. Some of us got a confirmation that our namechecks are indeed pending at FBI.

Here are couple questions:

Are there other agencies working on the namecheck with or in parallel to FBI? If yes, who are they?

We tried everything we could, now what? Does sending an inquiry every other month really help? What if this namecheck takes 2 years from now?

I am sure we all (stuck in namecheks I mean) have strong motivations to get the card. So, let's share what we know/speculate/hope.

What is the next step ?
