Can anybody share his experience where primary got approved earlier.

Just received the courtesy copy of approval notice in my mail. My case detail is as follows:
Jan 2001: Started the process
Sep 2002:LC approved
Oct 2002: 140, 485 concurrent filing, EB2
Nov 2002: 1st FP
Mar 11, 2004: RFE generated
Mar 19, 2004: RFE received
Mar 25, 2004: RFE replied
Mar 26, 2004: RFE received by BCIS
Apr 3, 2004: 2nd FP
Apr 8, 2004: FP received by BCIS
Apr 13,2004: Case touched
May 20, 2004: Approval notice received (dated May 17)
2 APs, 2 EADs.

A few interesting things/info to share with everyone here:
1. My online case status never changed since Apr 8th. As of today, it still shows "Apr 8, FP received". Also, I never received any email notice. So, don't lose hope if you are in the same boat.
2. My original company was acquired by another company. AC21 was filed for me, although I don't know whether it's necessary.
3. All the notices except for the last one were sent to my old lawyer. For FP and approval, I also received copies directly.
4. I sent fax last week and yesterday, got no response and don't know if it had any impact. But it surely did no harm. For the content of the fax, I just said "Other: RFE is 60 days old".

I was introduced to this site by my friend very recently, yet I found the site and people here are very nice, helpful, informative and doing a great job helping everybody get through this ordeal. Thanks to everyone in the forum and especially people who lead. I am indebted to the data/trackers and informative threads done by Kashmir, ND022202, 140_takes_forever and many others.
I feel very lucky and a bit guilty to get the approval while many wac02ers including some of my friends are still waiting. Sincerely wish everybody here get his/her GC soon.

Got a bunch of e-mails.
All the cases for me, wife and kid have been approved on May 20, 2004.
I-140 EB3 was approved in Dec of 2001 after 2(two) "Intent to Deny" notices. I was laid off by the sponsor after 180 days passed since I-485 filing date. I was unemployed for almost 10 months.
After I found a job I decided not to inform the BCIS without RFE.
And, at last, our applications were approved yesterday without any RFE.

Thanks to all whose efforts make this forum so wonderful.

Hi Guys,

WAC-02-125-51765 and 51840 is approved on 20th MAY. I received 2 emails for each case. Although the exitment of GC is lessen over the time I am happy that atleast it is over.

Company didn't file 485 for 2 months but looks like its happned to be good.

After 28 months of worst wait in my life the GC is approved today, i got a mail today morning.

485 ND Jan 2002
1 st FP March 2002
3 EADs
Changed job in July exactly after 185 days and informed BCIS (personally i believe it is not needed now, but i just follwed my attorney when i did it . But it only resulted in BCIS asking for more info than the regular RFE.
ATTORNEY wanted to file it as he charged me $600 , so i can see his point
)

Finally It Happened.....

How did this happen....?
I saw the new memorandum and faxed a request.....
Nothing happened for 3 weeks....
Was persistent and tried second level fax....
Got approved in a week.

I was a spectator all this time and finally registered to share this news with everyone. Thanks to all the volunteers and Mr.Khanna for this great resource
for all GC seekers.

I was sleeping today morning,when a friend of mine (he has my WAC information) called me and told me that my application was approved. I checked my email in the morning and received email informing me about the approval of 485 for both, my wife and I. I do not know how to react. Its been a long wait and now finally I can move on to doing things I want to do.
I have been a silent observer on this forum and been going through it on a regular basis. This forum has provided me with a lot of support. I cannot thank you guys enough. Everyone on this forum has been going through so much and I can relate to everyone out here, as I was in the same boat. I will pray to God that everyone on this forum gets their application approved fast.
