CSC I-485 **Approvals** in JUN 2004.

Can't beleive it....My case and my wife case has been approved on june 24 ,2004. I got an email this morning from USCIS. I am relaxed now.....
it's party time..let's go..this forum is very help helpful...wish all the best for others GC pending applicants.

RFE issued on April 2nd, 2004 recived response by USCIS on April 15th.
2nd FP scheduled on may 20th (but went for early fp)..
had an customer service enquiry by email on may 25th, I don't know whether it is really did help?)
I live in MI which comes under NSC but applied GC thru CSC.

Got online status changed to "approved" yesterday.

ND:Jul 2002 (EB2)
FP1: Aug 2002
FP2: Jun 2004(done early at San Jose)
2 AP's and 2 EAD's
RFE: None

Surprisingly got my approval before the FP schedule date. This shows doing early FP is good and does impact approval date

Question: Spouse currently abroad. She received FP2 notice and plan to do once reaches here on AP. Anyone see any issues (for either of us) if I do my stamping early? Your response is much appreciated.

My quest for GC had been pretty smooth except for the long and lengthy process. This forum had been a great source of info and I thank all members for keeping this alive.

I want to share my info, I can't believe yesterday my 485 was approved which i didn't expect, WAC 03 105 XXXX. which is Feb 21st 2003. I don't know but now running date was May 15 2002. May be they consider LC priority date?????, Any how Iam happy. Best of Luck for all of you.

I would like to let you all know that our case (me,spouse and one child) got approved yesterday as per INS's e-mail notification as well as their web site. I am still waiting for my second child case to get approved. My case is AC21. Changed the GC filing employer after a year and notified INS (through HR of current employer and not through any Attorney) immediately thereafter. Didn't receive any RFE of any kind.

RD of I-485 is Aug 30, 2002
ND of I-485 is Sept. 4, 2002

Now my questions:
1. When can I expect Approval notice?

2. I am moving to another home (same city and few blocks away from current home) in a week. What is my option to avoid loss of INS/BCSIS document?

3. I will be sending AR-11 next week but do I have to inform INS as well for address change ?

4. Do we have to go for passport stamping at the same time? My children are overseas now and will be back 6 weeks from now.

5. Can I get PP stamping at SFO though my current address comes under San Jose?

This forum has been great help even much before I moved to US 2.5 years back from overseas. Thanks a lot to all the active participants of the past and the present.

Hello All,

Our cases got approved today. Its been a long journey for me, I have been in US for 13+ years, finished couple of degrees, worked for 8+ years, and finally got my GC today. Would definately likely to thank PCEE, Kashmir and above all Rajiv Khanna for doing so much good for the community here. I am so shocked reading the recent critical judgements that were made against Kashmir and other good people who were trying to help the I-485 community. I hope people refrain from such personal attacks and use their time helping fellow I-485ers.

My case details:

Labour Approved: 12/01
I-140 Approved: 5/02
I-485 RD : 07/26/02
I-485 ND : 07/30/02
I-485 AD : 06/29/04

Second FP: June 12, 2004 (Early finger print in San Jose ASC)
touch date: June 15th, 2004 (fingerprint received)

June 23th, 2004
Received approval email: June 24th, 2004 (Approval letter was sent on June 23th,2004)
Received approval letter on June 26th, 2004
Stamped on June 29th, 2004 in SF.

Stamp experience is very bad. Wait in line at around 7:20AM, got in at around 10:40AM, several windows are closed when it's close to 11:30AM(I guess officers left for lunch). For about 1.5 hours, nobody handles the approval cases. At around 1:30PM, one officer began to call the approval numbers and we are done in about 5 minutes.

Documents for stamp:
Approval notice, passport, I-94, 2 pictures, EAD and AP.

No camera and cell phone with camera function are allowed in the building, however you can bring the ordinary cell phones in. The pay phones in the building are all broken.

Car is parked in the parking lot at Broadway and Front, 13.00$ flat rate per day.

LUDs on 6/9 (2nd FP update), 6/22, 6/23, 6/24, and 6/29 (status
changed for approval).

No update on spouse's case. It still says FP notice mailed.
I dont know when this will get approved.

So folks, if you have seen your LUD getting updated, sit tight and pretty.

Hi All,

All our (3) cases approved on 6/28/2004 according to online status (just checked at 11PM). Long journey coming to an end. My wife was 245(i). My previous employer and lawyer created H4 problem. They blame each other for it (just a matter of $120/-). They extended my H1 but didn't apply for H4. By the time we realized it was more than 180days. She and my kid cannot leave the country without GC. We have been waiting for GC to visit India. It is more than 5+ years and we are desperate to visit our parents, friends and relatives.

Here are our details:

Labor: RIR April 2001
I-140: Approved in April 2002.
I-485s applied in May 2002. Lawyer sent more money than required so the ND is June 11th, 2002.
3 APs, 3 EADs
1st FP: July 2002
2nd FP: scheduled for 7/8/2004 in Oakland, CA. But did an early FP in San Jose on 6/4/2004. Website updated (FP received) on 6/9/2004.

No LUD updates after that until today. LUD --> mine updated 5/4/2004. Then 6/9/04 FP received for both my wife and me.

This is a great forum. It provides so much information. Thanks a lot for Rajiv for providing this great service. May god bless him?

We (Self, wife and daughter) got the approval info from the web site today after noon. Our cases got approved on 6/29 as per web info.
Our LUD last shown was 6/24 and the cases disappeared since yesterday afternoon. Today afternoon it was back with the good news.

I thank Rajeev for providing us this forum, that was the life line during this ardous wait.
I thank Kashmir, Pcee, I140_takes_forever and all other forum members for your valuable inputs and help in keeping this forum lively.

...and finally. My case got approved yesterday 6/30. This was after it disappeared yesterday. I asked my lawyer to contact the USCIS. When she contacted them, they said the system is acting up however the case is approved. Well just checked now, my case shows online and it says it is approoooooooooved.

One thing worth noticing: My case was touched on 05/20, 05/28 and 06/01. but online status never changed, no email notification either. But the approval notice arrived in mail. So the online status is not 100% accurate. For those people whose case is touched, expect good news soon.
