Please add any new CSC I-485 approvals to this thread. Post only approvals to this thread so that it can be used (kind of data/summary tracking) to see recent approvals.

If you see any CSC I-485 approval any where on this board please post it to this thread with all the info (if it is not already posted to this thread). Please follow below guidelines while posting.
1. In the subject line, give it running serial number, member name (that got approved), and the subject line.
2. Entire text of their approval message (cut and paste including headers)
3. Please also provide a Link to that aproval thead/post (it helps a lot in maintaining summary as well as users can goto that thread to ask questions).

Also refrain from any other discussion (apart from just posting CSC I-485 approvals) in this thread so that we can keep it lean.

got approval yeterday
Hello everybody !!

Just now i talked to IIO, and she told me that my case is being approved yesterday. Still online status is not updated and she told me that it will take few more days to uppdate it. As per the card is concerned, she told me that it will take few more days to order the card because it is not showing in her system. Ultimately after a long waiting .....i got it. Hope you people also might be getting the approval very soon.....

CSC freeze lifted. they got sept 2001 485 filing approval on monday. Also said that they will inquire about my case ( rfe on 11/15 , rfe dics received 12/18 ) on 2/18.

Checked INS online status moment ago, and it was a quite
pleasant surprise, "case was approved on Feb, 12, 2003"!

RD: 6/01
ND: 8/01
FP: 1st on 1/02, 2nd on 8/02 (1st one is not good per INS)
RFE: 12/02, received/replied at same month. EVL and past
3 yrs' W2 were requested.
Finally, APPROVED on Feb, 03!

The I485 stage took about 20 months, and I am with the
same employer in this whole GC process.

What a relief after all this wait! :)

Today is my lucky day! Just got my lawyer's notice: On 02/13/2003, we received your I-485 Approval Notice....

ND: 11/11/2001 Got one RFE in Dec 2002 and my case was assigned to an officer on Jan 23th 2003. Now it is approved!

Folks,

There is light at the end of the tunnel after all. I just spoke to an IIO and she said that both mine and my wifes cases were approved today. She also said that they are a little slow in getting the notices and cards out so there might be a delay.

I had heard the skeptics say that what the IIO's say might not be true, but then I spoke to this Indian lady, she was most courteous. She infact was speaking to me in Hindi and said that he was from the same place in India as I was from. I would not trust her to lie to me. :p

Yes, me and my spouse's I-485s were approved yesterday!

I called CSC this morning (~30 mins back) and learnt this via AVM. Since its so difficult to get through and given the fact that I was already connected I thought of speaking to an IIO and get a confirmation. Was on hold for about 15 minutes and then IIO came on line.......

1. She confirmed that our I-485 were approved and approval
notices were mailed yesterday (02/13/03)
2. She verified that our addresses were proper on INS record.
3. She told me that a copy of approval notice will go to the lawyer
and I can use either copy for getting the PP stamped. Once I
get the stamping done @ local district office they will order
the plastic card.
4. She did mention that Website is not being updated as promptly
as the AVM.
5. She also said, "...starting March 01, 2003 this phone no. will no
longer be in service and you will not be able to speak to
anyone...we are working on making web/online status better.."

Still keeping fingers crossed....since IIO says that wife's file got seperated..but IIO says that she will ask the officer to take it up..could take upto 2 months.
So...I am feeling a bit let down...seems that the approval notices were mailed yesterday..I am waiting to get them in the mail ( seems that I get a copy with the lawyer as well )...will ask the lawyer to fax an inquiry as usual on 18th.

I called IIO just once in June 2002.

I have been a frequent visitor to this group but am posting for the first time. Very informative group indeed.

RFE received by INS on: 11-26-2002 (3month paystub, EVL,...)
approved on 2-13-2003 (per AVM) both my husband and me
The message on the web site still shows that the RFE was received on 11/26.....
My husband changed his job after 6 month, and we used AC-21 when we replied the RFE. Keep your hopes up! check the AVM if your received date or notice date is around October and November, chances are that you might have been approved!

Hi all,

Its my time to celebrate. My 485 was approved on 10th Feb. I did not get my copy, but attorney did receive on 14th Feb. But I dont know about my wife's 485, since neither we nor attorney received it. Both AVM & online were not updated for both of us, so could not confirm my wife's case.

I used AC21 since I changed job after being with the employer for six months.

I have a question, in my approval, the local INS office is mentioned as NJ office, since my changed employer is based in NJ. But I am in East bay, can I go to the San Francisco office & get it stamped? I need your feedbacks guys, pls post your views. Is there anybody who stamped in the office other than mentioned in the approval letter.

It was long & painful wait for me, once got approved everything flew away. I hope waiting people get approved soon.......
