RFE for wife's Advance parole extension

We received an RFE for my wife's Advance Parole extension today. RFE date was February 7th, 2003. INS is asking for the Marriage certificate.

My Story guys.

Both myself and wife applied together. My wife was my beneficiary,
I was primary.

RD Sep 17 2001
ND Sep 28.2001


Got laid off on Jan 18th 2002

Finger print date March 8th. Gave finger print on March 2nd.

My wife got approval on June 17th. I didn't get approval.
Lawer told me that benificary getting approval before primay is
unsual, but they can't send an enquiry till INS says it is processing cases of receipt date till sept 17th.

On Nov 20th, I checked my online status and found that RFE has
been issued on my case. Didn't receive the RFE. Lawer called INS
on Dec 12th and found that RFE has been cancelled on Nov 26th.and representative couldn't give any reason for that.

Checked the online status on Feb 18th and found that my case has been approved on Feb 14th. Got the approval notice in mail today(2.20.03)

This form has been giving me lot of confidence during the whole process. Good luck to all of you guys.

Approval notices for me and my spouse were received today (02/21). I'm so surprised since both AVM and online checking haven't updated yet, still the same message about RFE received. Here are the details of my case.

Luckly, my company issued the letter to me since I was still on the payroll due to the serverance package.

For those of you who are still anxiously waiting for their approval, don't give up your hope, your turn is coming soon.

Finally this pain in the a** is relieved. Talked to the IIO in the morning and she told me that my 485 was approved on 02/21/2003. Here are the details of my case:

RD- 10/11/2001
ND- 11/09/2001
FPdone- 03/22/2002
FBI Cleared - 03/27/2002
RFE ISsued - 08/13/2002 (EVL, last 3 paystubs, last 3yr tax papers)
Laid from Job(the employer who filed my I 140) on - 07/30/2002
Started a contract job with a new employer - 09/04/2003

RFE replied and recieved in INS office according to USPS express mail tracking - 11/04/2002 (Deadline for RFE was 11/05/2002)

RFE acknowledged as recieved - 11/20/2002
Approved Date (Accoring to online and IIO) - 02/21/2003

Funny things:

I had been refused IEAD in SFO office on 02/20/2003 and my EAD was expiring on 02/26/2003. Just got in nick of time.
INS issued an RFE on my Advanced Parole on 02/20/2003.

Questions:
What do I need to atke to get the passport stamped.

Guys,

The pain is over. My attorney got our approval notices today by mail. It is approved on 02/20/2003.

Actually I went to INS in Sanfrancisco today to get IEAD for me & my wife becuase my EAD expires tomorrow.

This crazy INS doesn't change either AVM or Online status to approved till today.

When I was in INS and waiting for photo to be taken after 5 hours, My attorney called my cell and informed the good news of my approval.

If INS updated the approval status in AVM or in Online, I would have avoided my holy journey to INS today.

Anyhow guys, I got approval & I am happy.

I wish all of you to get your approval pretty fast.
