Please add any new CSC I-485 approvals to this thread. Post only approvals to this thread so that it can be used (kind of data/summary tracking) to see recent approvals.

If you see any CSC I-485 approval any where on this board please post it to this thread with all the info (if it is not already posted to this thread). Please follow below guidelines while posting.
1. In the subject line, give it running serial number, member name (that got approved), and the subject line.
2. Entire text of their approval message (cut and paste including headers)
3. Please also provide a Link to that aproval thead/post.

Also refrain from any other discussion (apart from CSC I-485 approvals)in this thread so that we can keep it lean.

Now its my turn to say that both my wife's and my case has been approved according to the AVM on July 31 2002. I am in PCee's list.

RFE Received by INS: Jul 25th, 2002
I-485 approved: Jul 31, 2002

RFE was for: Doctor's signature missing in Medical Form. They asked W2, 3 month pay stub, last year's tax returns, emp. letter, signed med form, ..

I am feeling utterly releived now. I wish to thank all the folks who helped me in this board. This board was my pressure reliever. Special thanks to PCee, sonofindia, tt tt, milli ..

Myself and husband got approved on July 31st. After looking at 044, 046 approvals, i thought i should also check AVM, guess what i heard!!!
"This Case has been approved on July 31st."
I suggest, all of you check your avm, you never know, when u will hear those approval words. I know, some some, tt tt, 485tester, venkat p has the same wac numbers around me.

Got my approval notice today.

Here are my details:

RD 7/5/01, ND 8/24/01, FP 1/2/02, WAC-01-265-XX

Next step is to go and get my passport stamped.

Hi Guys,

My journey ended today morning when i heard the magic words
in AVM - ' This case has been approved'

RD- 27 Sept 2001
ND- 01 Oct 2001
FP - 03/02 Scheduled 03/27
PD - Feb 2001
EB3 RIR

I called IIO multiple times - almost 8 in the last 6 months . So, 485 getting affected because of calling IIO is nothing more than BALONI. As long as you are respectful and extra polite, it doesn't matter

However my wife's case is still not approved and
is pending. Should I call up and find. Anyone

I checked AVM this morning -- and it says I've been APPROVED!!!

PD: 6/09/2000 EB3 (Canada)
I-140 AD: 3/2/2001
I-485 RD: 5/18/2001
I-485 ND: 7/23/2001
RFE sent: 6/5/2002
RFE response received: 7/8/2002
AD: 7/31/2002

A heartfelt thanks to all of you... I'd like to think we've been solace to each other through this storm of uncertainty. It's been wonderful to know there are folks in the same boat, sharing their experiences and providing support where needed. Thanks especially to PCee and others who've diligently maintained these sites and kept tracking summaries for us.

Good luck to everyone... as you can see, it's probably just a matter of time before it's all over. My Green Card odyssey has taken 2 1/2 years (with the I-485 taking about half of that), and my efforts even to get to this stage span more than half a decade. We'll all be there soon, if we aren't already.

I'll post one more time when I receive the approval notice, so if anyone has any questions, I'll respond to them then. Otherwise, take care everyone -- best of luck.

Hi Guys,

My I-485 has been approved on 29th July. I have been frequent visitor on this board and it has really been helpful.It took more than 3 years for me for the entire GC process. It took almost 2 years for the I-140 to get thru although all my friend who had filed got their I-140 with 6 month.My I-140 was filed in EB2 and Eb3 as has have a masters degree in Computers but my labor screwed my EB2 application as in the labor he mentioned Bachelors or equivalent.

I-140 filed in July 1999(EB3)
I-140 Approved in March 2000
I-485 RD August 23rd
I-485 ND Sept. 26th
FP March 26th
Approved July 29th
Talked to IIO 3 time during the entire process( last month only)

My journey took almost 3 & a 1/2 years but things seem to be moving more efficiently now, so hang in there everybody, its just a matter of time. RFE- April 14, 2002 - employ letter, paystubs from Aug2001, school certificates, passport copies.
RFE replied- June 10, 2002
RFE rcvd- June14, 2002
AD- Aug2, 2002

Changed jobs after 6 months (on April 1,2002), didnot inform INS. New job in same field in same goegraphical location. Approved even though I had gone thru a pay cut in the original job. Pay cut put me at a lower salary than what was on I-140. So don't despair if your case has a few holes and keep the faith.

Spoke to IIO today. My case has been approved on 8/6/2002. Hopefully I should get the notices in the next 3-4 days.
