CSC I-485 **Approvals** in APR 2004.

# 40 Finally I and my wife 1-485 got approved. Here I am giving the details.

Details:

Labor applied Nov, 1st 2000
Labor approved May, 5th 2001(In-between RFE came and replied by attorney)
There was a two months time gap because I was busy with my marriage.
I-140 Applied July, 25th 2001
I-140 Approved Oct, 24th 2001(In-between RFE came and replied by attorney)
It took two months to gather all needs (medical, birth certificate, etc) for my I-485 application

Fax inquiry for 2nd FP (1st time - Oct, 2003; 2nd time Nov, 2003; 3rd time Jan, 2004 Finally Feb, 11th 2004
I got a call from CIS and told he is generated 2nd FP notice)

Fax inquiry for I-485(one and last on March, 24th 2004 because March, 22nd 2004 I-485 date crossed my RD and I
got letter from CIS after 4 days saying that my case was out of queue and they requested my case file and its
Will take 30 to 45 days to take decision)

I called CIS numerous number of times in-between time. Very few time I got proper answers.

My attorney/company screwed my 2nd EAD and I am out of payroll for 4 days. Every time my attorney file EAD and
AP I got minimum one RFE for me or my wife. I applied 3rd EAD and AP myself, way before 90 days and got with out
Any RFE’s.

This discussion board is very helpful through out my journey, I am very much thankful to every one who is

My case was very strange. May labor got approved in 3 days. I-140 got approved in 1 month. Waited for more than a year to get married. Filed 485 in Jan 2002. Company shut down no salary for more than a 110 months. Joined a Law firm in May 2003.ITS A COOL FIRM AS SE. I was getting paid exactly half the amount on LCA Salary (ETA 750). W2's last 2 years had exactly half amount of LC Salary.

As you are aware there was no movement on 485. I faxed a letter to Diane Feinstein in Feb 2004. No response. Started calling her secretary Stella on a daily basis( u know how we follow up). Finally she called CSC in March end. CSC generated RFE on April 1st. My attorney who filed my case initially received RFE. I did not wanted my change lawyers to my own company. My attorneys in the current organisation suggested to keep Attorney on record to avoind any interviews. I took the RFE from old attorney and we prepared a RFE and I made old attorney sign for it and submitted. CSC received on 13th and later on the website it said they received it on 15th.

CASE GOT APPROVED ON APRIL 29, 2004.

I cant explain how difficult was life last 2 years. I used to check at least 20 times a day.

My case WAC03XXXX got approved on 28th April.

I 485
RD 15th Nov 2002
AD 28th April 2004 (for spouse also).

I guess mine came in early because mine is a substitution case and priority date was Nov 1999.
Or may be I'm lukcy.

This journey has came to an halt to cool off!!!! Though not yet
over till we get card in our hands.

I guess lot of 02-70+ series for FY-2002 are getting approved.
I hope this will bring some hope for the ppl who are still waiting from Oct-2001.
