CSC - EAD/AP approved - LOST in mail - How do you know your FP is issued?

AP approved on 11/11/01

due to Wrong Address in INS - Lost is mail. Attorney say - Any mails returned back to INS are destroyed. We need to get Replacement EAD and need to REFILE I131 - AP.

Can someone shed some light on this.

That is true and some service centers are notorious for this. Call the service center and verify the address now. Do not wait for your lawyer to act.

See if you can get a replacement EAD /AP citing the lost in mail fact from the local INS. Most of the district offices will grant you EAD/AP. See the district office page in INS web site.

You can also call the service center (good exercise for your fingers!) If you talk to the IIO they will tell you about the FP issue too. Moreover, since FP is send to the local INS office you can go to the local office and follow up your case\'s status there too.
