credit card application rejected mentioning that i am a not a permanent resident

Can do something on the above issue. the rejected my application mentioning that i am not a permanent resident.
As a matter of fact I allready have a credit card from them and this is for my second card.
 
apply card from diffrent company if you have good credit history. many H4 or F1 have also credit cards. I suspect something wrong with company they just ask SSN# DOB, employer name and not your status

If you already have a card from them why do you need another?
 
Per patriot act citizenship information is being gathered. Most probably it was discover which rejected your application. They have been doing this for a long time (even pre 911). Somebody has to stand up, complain to FTC... Just becos they gather citizenship info does not give them a right to reject a credit card application.
However this is immigration unrelated thread and I have to move it to the unrelated thread forum.

Try standing up for your rights alone.
