CP completed in Mumbai on 2nd May !!!!!

Do we need original I-140 and other P3 docs for the interview?

My lawyer is only giving me a copy of what they sent to Mumbai along with P3. Is this okay to carry for the interview? or are originals required?

Atleast they didnot check in front of me. Neither did they ask me for any H1 related stuff. You are correct , GC is for future employment, my apprehensions are only from previous discussions on current salary being more or equal to the one mentioned in LC.

I took $1000 travellers cheque and $1000 in cash plus the credit card. I wouldnt cut it too fine, inflation in Bombay has sky rocketted. I dont know after how long you are going back, believe me it is one of most expensive places.
 
Apprehension

Is it likely thet the Consular oficer spends time in verifying the information given in DS230 before we get to the interview? In that case he has around 3 months to verify in detail and be prepared to grill you.I am apprehensive so maybe I need moral boosting from successful guys.Hv you come across any case of rejection at CP? If this is so and there is a valid H1 ,can we travel back on the H1? Boosting reply appreciated!
