Corporate Change

Hi,
I have some doubts regarding Corporate change.
Due to business/corporate reason my company (A)
is getting splitted. Now they told me that I
will goto new company B and my job position/nature of work/
location till remain same.
Do they need to file new H1 or amendment to old ?

Actually I'm going for my marriage in 25 days to India.
How it will affect my status & H4 for my wife ?

Also previously I was with company Z,
and I started my GC by company Z, (after joining
with company A) my labor was completed 2 months
before.
Now,
Can I apply for I-140 with company Z still ?
or can I do my I-140 with either company A or B ?

Since I have less time to act, pls help me out.

You can only file 140 thru company Z (and 485, ead etc.)

I am not sure about the split. If the position, responsibilities are same and the new company is going to acquire the succession rights to the division in question then an amendment might not be required...
In your position whether you need an amendment or not, you can go ahead and get married and apply for spouse's H4. after your spouse enters US, if your lawyer suggests to file an H1 amendment(and you have filed one or planning to), you need to file an amendment for h4 too.
