cool interview

Hi Guys,
I had a very cool interview today at INS Newark office!
The officer was so nice, she did not ask any question, just stamped the passport, it took about 15 minutes for all of our 3 people.
Letter asked for Medical, employment letter and passport/I-94.
So if you have same case don\'t worry, everything should be fine.

Congrats !!! GCW123 - I have a question

I have the same case as yours - my interview is scheduled for 5/23/02.
Documents asked for:
1. Interview Letter, Passports, I-94
2. Medical exam papers

Case Details: RD 7/9/01; FP 1/26/02; Transfer 5/1/02; Int. 5/23/02

What I would like to know is, what papers did you take for the medical ? My Medical examination was done on 6/16/01. Do I need to do the medical again. I find this confusing - the INS has the original I-693 (Medical Form) - what then do they expect me to bring. Could you tell me what paperwork you took.

Would appreciate any input from you.

So, what documents did she ask you for ?

Did she look at the interview letter, and since it just says "Medical forms", did she ask you for that ?

Please let me know. I\'m curious.

we were asked the same documents as you:
1. Interview Letter, Passports, I-94
2. Medical exam papers
3. employment letter

The interview letter was submitted to the window as we entered into the room so I am not sure wether she was having the interview letter.
As for the medical, did you get the medical forms with the interview letter? we had the medical forms with the letter. AS I know medical is good for a year. You could argue with the officer that your last exam is less than a year, but I think if you want to get your green card satmped right away, you\'d better to just do the medical. That will make the officer\'s work very easy to process your case and say congradulation to you right away.
