Is this normal, does this mean i am stuck in Name check.

I have also applied my 4th EAD. I have a better job offer and interested to change - can i do this.

Do you guys here have any ideas?

What is the 485 RFE about?

Take an infopass appointment and see if you are stuck/cleared Name Check. You should check about your NameCheck status.

Please note that this is NOT meant to be a I-140 tracker. Visit the I-140 Nebraska section for a comprehensive I-140 tracker. I am however capturing this information here since it is likely there is some relationship between I-140 approval and I-485.

For those of you that came from BEC and got to use that tracker, I think it was useful for all of us. Now please help build this tracker.

RFE was about uscis wanted my latest 3 pay cheques and proof of employement. Unfortunatley, my employer took his own sweet time to send this - but eventually managed to send within the last date.
Since then, all i got was a FP notice.

Last time (that was in may 2006) when I took the infopass, the lady refused to answer any questions, she kept on repeating the case with NSC and we don't have an information.

I also go to www.trackitt.com to follow the cases, if you see my signature they have not even givinng me the EAD i am kind of scared they just approved my I-140 few days ago. But i see some I-485 were approved between 22 to 30 days after I-140 approvals, i dont see Luds, at all in my I-485 and i call to ask but they refuse to give me extra information just what is online. Hopefully my I-485 gets approved soon even if i dont get EAD my priority date is availabe since april 2005. my priority date is 04/30/2006. Good luck to you, to tell you the truth since they approved my I-140 I could not sleep i am even having problems trying to sleep.
 
What was the RFE for EAD?

Could you pls share what was the RFE you got for EAD? and how did you answer it?

They asked for a color copy of an ID, or passport, or any other national document that has my picture, address, date of birth. they did not wanted black and white, it has to show a face pic, and really clear, i scanned, and i notarized and send it.
 
Got interview notice

The interview is on Jan 10th. They asked me to bring all immigraton related documents..

Hopefully my name check clears by then and there is no retrogression in Jan. I might have a chance for approval that day if everything goes well.

They can tell you about Name check (when sent, did they receive it back, etc), finger printing and also if it was assigned to an office. What else you need?
 
i called USCIS today and they told that my namecheck is still pending. see my signature. does this mean that i'm offcially stuck in this FBI namecheck hole or not yet?

anybody had his namecheck cleared in few motnhs after the submission? or it is either 2 weeks or 3 yrs nothing in between?

Last I-485 approved on 11/30/06

This is just an average that i followed on trackitt.com, the last I-485 listed there on NSC was on 11/30 from that date up to here i do not see another one approved by NSC, if you see my signature i do not even have luds after finger prints, some get notices saying we received your finger prints, in my case not even that just a LUD next day, i calle service center and they dont give any info just the one that i know already for case online status, and is funny the Phone still ask for RFE, so that means Phone and Online do not go concurrent on their updates, online goes ahead, I am kind of worry but well, i hope everything will end up soon. 10 days since my I-140 has been approved, and another good/bad sign is that i do not have RFE on my I-485 wich i do not how to interpretate as good or bad. Wish luck everyone and my prayers continue for all of us.
