Consolidated NSC I-485 Tracker

Received Card and Welcome notice

Received Card and Welcome notices in postal mail. But got an email on 05/28/08 regarding the Approval has been mailed, but till now haven't received it. Do I need to worry? Call USCIS? Anybody in this situation?

I finally got the 485 approved after 5.5 years!!! Here are the details -

Feb 2003 - Applied for Labor, EB3, Non-RIR
Mar 2007 - Changed to RIR
Apr 2007 - Labor approved
May 2007 - Concurrent filing of 140 & 485 (under 'Rest of the World' category, due to wife's place of birth)
June 2007 - Receipt date of 485
June 2007 - 140 approved (expedited)
Aug 2007 - EAD and AP approved
Apr 2008 - Applied to renew EAD and AP
May 28, 2008 - Rec'd email from USCIS notifying about 485 approval. LUD updated.
May 29, 2008 - Recived 485 approval (I-797) via USPS mail. Date on approval is May 22.

I want to share this good news with you all, we were soooooooo happy to see the status change today. Finally got approved after 4.5 years of long wait.

Got Card Production ordered email, few moments ago

All

Just got email from CRIS stating Card production have been ordered for the entire family (self, spouse and daughter). We should expect the actual cards in 30 days.

Card production ordered!

Wow!! It took almost 6 years (labor to GC) and 485 took two years! Last night we got the card production ordered email for both me and my spouse!! :) In July 2007 we got an RFE for EVL and nothing happened since then. We got another RFE last month (for all EADs, H1 notices and my wife missed some vaccines when we filed 485 - because she was pregnant. the RFE to get those vaccines done) We submitted the documents almost a month ago. I was really frustrated that we waited so long after replying to RFE but never got anything. Finally we got it. We are very happy and wish you all good luck.

I would like to share reply from USCIS customer service rep on my status query.

I called USCIS number 1-800-375-5283 - 1 - 2 - 2 - 6 - 1 - (receipt #) - 1 - 1 - 3 - 3 (or 4), one lady picked up the call. I provided receipt number and asked her about the status of my case and she told me that your dates are current and now your file will be assigned to the officer.

I asked her particularly for my FBI name check and she replied me that it's cleared... once all required process is completed then only your file comes to this queue and it usually take up to 90 days to assign the officer.

She also told me that you can check back with us in 30 days.

I was reading in couple of forums that customer service rep doesn't have information about FBI name check cleared or not... Have you ever received same reply from USCIS customer service rep? What do you think on her answer??

Thanks Munnadada. I was in the same situation as you were decribing. The customer service person said that the FBI check and all other checks in the world is done for me and my wife last year. We took info pass in Dec'07 and the IO told me that everything is pending and nothing is complete yet! In April '08 we had another infopass and still got the pending information only... what makes out of this?

Hello KGCM - Hope my case is different and cleared all kind of back ground checks :)

Did anyone receive I485 approval whose priority date was in 2004 and applied after June 2008?

Received my wife's approval notice today.
Phew !! It is a big sign of relief.
Now both of us can celebrate as I got my approval exactly a month back.

Thanks Munnadada. I was in the same situation like yours. After 2 days i called again USCIS lady told me to wait 30 days. Then i asked her any advantage of opening Service request. She did not answer my question but asked me to open service request and she transferrd call to Customer support. I opened service request.

After 2 weeks i took info pass appointment. I am sure i will get same response from IO also. I am so lucky i got old lady she saw my case and she told me that she is going to email to USCIS. she gave me Service request number and asked me to contact in 30 days but in a week my case was approved.
