Congressman's point of view. Is this true?

I spoke to my local congressman and later on she said why my case is getting delayed. But I cannot take her logic. Does somebody heard of this before. My labour was filed in VSC region. My I-140 got approved in vermont. My stupid lawyer filed my I-485 in TSC. But I didn't give her any information other than my I-485 SRC number. She called back and gave all this information. Since your I-140 is processed in different service center your case is getting delayed. If all three of them filed in the same service center it will be faster. TSC will process different if your I-140 is filed from a different service center. Does anyone support her theory.

If somebody already got approved and your applications were filed in different service centers please post. It will boost my morale.

If old timers still not approved filed their applications in different service centers do post...........

I-485 RD 09/01
I-485 ND 11/01
FP 04/03

AD - yet to come

I wish.....

what she said is true....because I filled everything to the same center and waiting is the name of my game so far.

My I-140 got approved from VSC, but I-485 has been pending at TSC since Feb 2002.

RD/ND: Feb, 2002
FP: Mar, 2003
AD: ?????????

Wether that theory is true or not, I have my friends 140 at NSC, got their approvals from TSC from last 3 months. These are 8/2001 or 9/2001 cases.

Thanks sss234, that gives some hope. But what else can we do to process our cases faster other than sitting and waiting. I have created an account with the new bcis online enquiry. I saw my wife's case was touched on 03/02/2004. But no signs of approval.
