[Confusion]TN educational Requirements under CSA

Hi everyone

I apologise if I’m asking a lot of questions, but I know that @nelsona is very knowledgeable. If I may have your attention, I’d appreciate it.
I have an undergraduate degree in business, but I work in an IT operations role, specifically DevOps/SRE. While working in IT, I realized that I should have a background in computer science. As a result, I completed a graduate computer science diploma (31 credits).

1. Now if I am planning to apply under CSA, it requires either a bachelor or 2y diploma+3y exp , but my comp diploma is 1y so I guess it won't work right?

2. If I decide to pursue 2y MSc, then MSc being a higher degree,
a. Can it substitute the bachelor’s degree requirement?
b. Can it be substituted for the 2-year diploma?
c. Does it raise any red flags that my business undergrad is in non alignment with my Masters? Because my UG isn't even in engineering.

3. If I go with bachelors in CS part time from an university online method which can be located anywhere in US or Canada , completely different from a city I live in currently.
a. When I apply under CSA or engineer using my CS bachelors, if an officer evaluates my bachelor's and notice that I live in different city so technically I did my bachelors online so they reject it ?
b. If the degree states it is done online then is it an issue in general for TN or visas in general?
c. Is there any such rule that BS must be of 4 years or 3 years also works for TN?

Thanks for any inputs

1. Correct
2. The MSC would become your 2-yr diploma. It would be a match, so no red flag.
3. The bachelors can be from any N American instution and will be accepted regardless of length.

@nelsona thanks so much for your inputs

For #3, What about competing a degree(Msc or BS) online from some university like Georgia tech, are there any red flags or it's considered as normal equivalent to any other regular degree?

For 2# MSc can become my 2y diploma but it can't substitute for my bachelors requirement being a higher degree? I am just trying to understand the rules, because it can substitute for bachelors then I wont need to show any work exp

3. as I said, any N American diploma.will suffice.

2. That would be at the discretion of the TN officer. They can insist that the Bach degree be considered only.

@nelsona
Another one , someone who has BS in comp from north America are more likely to be eligible for most roles
for example#
If someone applying for developer role or ML engineer then BsCOMP under engineering category can be eligible right?
If applying for DevOPs, Data scientist, cyber security etc... can be eligible under CSA with BScomp right?
